Thank you!
It was great to see so many families at conferences before the Thanksgiving break. It is so important to partner with families to foster growth in social and academic areas for your children. Conferences are one way of reporting and supporting this growth. If you were unable to make the scheudled times, please contact your child's teacher to set up an alternate time to meet. Many of you were reminded that we are working on "quarters" now and no report card was issued this first quarter. The purpose is to make parents aware of strengths and concerns through this face to face meeting. After the end of next
quarter, your child will be issued a report card on January 29th.
Thank you for your support for the York Food Pantry collection. We had a train that traveled around the school with a trail of food as it's cargo....the kids enjoyed adding to this train daily and the food was collected in time to support families for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The weather has been so unpredictable lately and we've been able to enjoy some warmer days, but please keep in mind that we go out almost everyday and your child needs to be prepared. The following picture is a good guideline to consider when sending your child with outdoor clothing for the day. Should you need support purchasing winter clothing for this season, please reach out to our school counselor, Amanda Benoit, our school nurse, Lorinda Layton, your child's teacher, of myself. ~April Noble, Principal
